Abstract (EN)

This study focuses on examining the hydrogen production capacity using solar-hydrogen hybrid energy systems in different provinces. The environmental impacts of fossil fuels and the importance of renewable energy sources are increasing. Solar energy stands out as a prominent source due to its wide availability and sustainability. The research evaluates the solar energy potential in the provinces of Ankara and Hatay and analyzes how this potential can be utilized for hydrogen production. The performance of solar energy systems in both provinces was simulated using PVSyst software. The obtained data was used to calculate the hydrogen production capacity using solar-powered electrolyzers. The results demonstrate the applicability of solar-hydrogen hybrid energy systems in different geographical regions and their contribution to environmental sustainability. The solar energy data from Ankara and Hatay reveal the potential hydrogen production capacity in these regions, providing important information for future energy policies and investments.
