Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it has been investigated experimentally how yarn density, yarn count, filament number and / or fineness, weave structure, fabric cover factor and fabric bulk density affect the abrasion, surface roughness, friction coefficient and moisture transmission properties of denim fabrics with different fiber contents. The study was carried out on denim fabrics with different contents and structures. In the Labthink Param MXD-02 friction coefficient tester, friction coefficients were calculated according to ASTM D1894-14 standard. Surfcom 130A surface roughness tester for surface roughness has been tested according to ISO 4287 standard. Abrasion tests were carried out in Nu-Martindale abrasion tester according to ASTM D 4966-12 standard under 12 kPa load and six different abrasion cycles were applied. The moisture conduction measurements of the fabrics were made in SDL ATLAS M 290, MMT Moisture control tester according to AATCC TM 195 standard.
