Abstract (EN)

In this experimental study, it is aimed to investigate the groutability of pure microfine cement (Ultrafin 12) injection, which is composed of constant water/cement (W/C) ratios, for different relative densities and the groutability of pure microfine cement (Ultrafin 12) injection, which is composed of different water/cement (W/C) ratios, for constant relative density. Permeability and strength properties of the grouted specimens were determined. In order to determine the rheological properties of suspensions having water/cement ratio of 0,6, 0,8, 1,0, 1,2, 1,5, 2,0, 2,5, 3,0, 3,5, 4,0, sedimentation, vicat needle and marsh funnel tests were carried out and optimum water/cement (W/C) content is determined. During these experiments, no dispersive liquid was used. After determination of the rheological properties, constant pressure injection tests were applied to the different gradation fine sand and medium sand specimens under different relative density and different water/cement (W/C) content conditions. Very good results were obtained from the injection experiments done on fine sands. It was seen that groutability decreases with increasing relative density. Maximum penetration was observed with 70% fine sands at 30% relative density. As the proportion of water/cement ratio increases, groutability also increases. Successful results were obtained from the injection experiments that is carried out for the specimens having the 1,5 water/cement ratio and composed of only fine sand. Specimens, in which successful results were obtained, were waited under cure conditions and then, strength experiments were done in the days of 1, 3, 7, 14, 28 and 56. From these measurements, it was observed that as the relative density and S/C ratio increases, measured strength values were decreased. Also, strength pressure values were decreased as the fine sand proportion of the specimens was increasing. It was deducted that appropriate proportion of water/cement is 1.0 for the optimum groutability and strength values. Specimens, in which successful results were obtained, also were tested for falling head permeability in the days of 1, 3, 7, 14, 28 and 56. No water flow and also no decreasing of water level were observed in the experiments during the first month of the measurements. As a result, all the specimens are impermeable according to the permeability experiments.
