Abstract (EN)
In this work, Co-doped hydroxyapatites were produced using a sol-gel method. The characterization of these samples were carried out by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It was observed that the crystallite size increases and crystallinity decreases with increasing the production temperature. It is determined that the morphologies of the samples are similar to each other and the stoichiometric ratio of (Ca+Co)/P is close to the value of 1.67 for all the samples. Keywords: Hydroxyapatite, biomaterial, bioceramic, sol-gel method, crystal structure, surface microstructure.
