Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to compare the CHAID analysis which a decision tree algorythm within regression models and a classification method in data mining with the logistic regression which is the more a classical method and its classification features. In this context, it was applied this methods on the data which were obtained from diabets who came to Firat University Medical Center between 2009 and 2011. As a result of, it was determined that CHAID analysis have a beter classification rate than logistic regression.Keywords: Logistic regression analysis, CHAID analysis
