Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to determine the cultivation conditions of Pleurotus eryngii, which has a very limited production in Turkey, and to test the effects of different growing mixtures on the yield and quality of P. eryngii mushroom. Spawn of P. eryngii was inoculated into substrate mixtures; oak sawdust (K), 2 oak sawdust + 1 wheat bran (G1), 2 poplar sawdust + 1 wheat bran (G2), 2 wheat straw + 1 wheat bran (G3), 1 oak sawdust +1 poplar sawdust +1 wheat bran (G4), 1 oak sawdust + 1 wheat straw + 1 wheat bran (G5), 2 peanut shell + 1 wheat bran (G6), 2 corn cob + 1 wheat bran (G7), 2 vine pruning waste +1 wheat bran (G8), 1 peanut husk + 1 oak sawdust + wheat bran (h) (G9), corn cob (1 h)+oak sawdust (1 h)+wheat bran ( 1 h) (G10), 1 vine pruning waste + 1 oak sawdust +1 wheat bran (G11). In the study; yield, biological efficiency, mycelia development time, mushroom measurements, mushroom weight, hardness, color and protein content etc. of the growing mixtures were compared in terms of parameters. As a result of the study, the shortest mycelia development time was obtained from G6 and G9 with 17 days and the longest time was 30 days from G4 mixture. In the protein analysis performed in dried mushroom samples; the highest protein content was detected in the G2 with 47.47%, and the lowest was in the G1 with 26.95%. While the highest yield was obtained from G6 with 171.14 g/kg bag, the lowest was recorded in G3 with 53.26 g/kg bag. Mushroom hardness was the highest in G4 with 2.67 and lowest in K with 1.90%. The rate of biological efficiency varied between 17.34% (G3) and 44.86% (G9). G6 and G9 mixtures, where peanut waste is used, seem to be successful in terms of yield, biological efficiency and mycelia growing time parameters, which are important for producers.
