Abstract (EN)

This study, which aims to compare the methods of Brodie, Staudemeair, Hummers, and Modified Hummers in graphene oxide synthesis from graphite, consists of four stages. In the first step, the Brodie Method, the Staudenmeair Method in the second step, the Hummers Method in the third step, and the Modified Hummers Method in the last step, graphene oxide synthesis has been studied using the Modified Hummers Method in the second stage. At each stage, the effect of three different pretreatments applied to graphite has concentrated on the effect of the experiment. In the first case, no pre-treatment of graphite has carried out. In the second case, graphite has applied to the ultrasonication process. In the third case, the graphite sample is preheated at 200ºC for 3 hours. Six quality criteria have been analyzed for the characterization of graphene oxide synthesis. The quality criteria have been analyzed, the atomic ratio of carbon to oxygen (C/O) by EDX analysis, the ratio of the peak density D to the peak density G (ID/IG) by RAMAN analysis, surface area measurement (YA) by BET analysis, particle size distribution (PB) analysis, polydispersity indeks (PDI) value and zeta potential (ZP) by ZETA-SIZER analysis. The performance of the quality criteria has evaluated together, the performance of the GO-MH1 coded experiment is better than other experiments. According to this condition, C/O = 1.81, ID/IG = 0.74, Y.A = 42.54 m*m/g, PB = 128 nm, PDI = 0.54, ZP = -40.10 mV.
