Abstract (EN)

Although FeMnMo alloys contain iron, manganese and molybdenum, they are of the Al-Si-Mg cast alloy type. These alloys are designed to improve the mechanical properties and reduce the adverse effects of iron-containing intermetallic compounds (Fe-IMCs) in the microstructure. FeMnMo alloys are preferred due to their high strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, especially in many components of marine, heavy automotive and industry. This study examined some physical properties of FeMoMn alloys experimentally. First of all, X-ray diffraction (XRD) of the powdered samples was performed between 25 °C and 900 °C. The crystal structure, mesh parameters, particle sizes and dislocation densities of the alloys were calculated depending on the temperature. As a result, the study concluded that the phase structure of Fe Mo Mn alloys was FCC and other parameters showed significant changes according to temperatures.
