Abstract (EN)

The superior properties of fiber-reinforced composite materials, such as high strength/weight ratios, corrosion, and fatigue resistance, rapidly increase their preference for aircraft structural components. The harsh thermal conditions and dynamic loadings that structural parts are exposed to during their flight cycle reveal the necessity of investigating the dynamic mechanical properties of composites under changing thermal conditions. In this thesis, the dynamic mechanical performance of basalt fiber-reinforced epoxy nanocomposite materials modified with ceramic-based nanoparticles having different morphologies (0, 1D, 2D) under varying thermal conditions was systematically investigated. Basalt fiber-reinforced epoxy nanocomposites modified with silica (SiO2), halloysite (HNT), and nanoclay (NC) were aged in the temperature range of (-50 °C)‒(+200 °C), and their dynamic mechanical performances were determined after impact. This study presented the results of dynamic mechanical analysis after impact research to the literature for the first time.
