A study to determining the perception levels of financial managers regarding financial technologies

The aim of this study is to determine the perception levels of finance managers working in finance units of private companies about financial technologies and to reveal important points. In line with this purpose, the data of this study, which was structured quantitatively, was obtained using the survey design model. The participants of the study were selected using the convenience sampling method. The participants of the study were people working in the finance field in private institutions in a province located in the Mediterranean Region. The data of the study were obtained using the "Financial Technologies Perception Scale for Finance Managers" developed by the researcher within the scope of the purpose of the study. 213 volunteer participants took part in the study. The data of the study were analyzed using the SPSS statistical data analysis program. As a result of the study, it was found that the participants' adoption of financial technologies and their attitudes towards financial technologies differed according to the gender of the participants and the participants' adoption of financial technologies and their attitudes towards financial technologies differed according to the age of the participants. In addition, the participants' attitudes towards financial technologies differed according to the participants' educational status. According to these results, it was seen that the participants with a high school education level had higher attitudes towards financial technologies than the participants with a bachelor's degree. Finally, the results of the study revealed that the participants' attitudes towards financial technologies differed according to the participants' professional experience. In this context, the results of the study emphasized that all participants with more professional experience had higher attitudes towards financial technologies than participants with 1-5 years of professional experience.
