Strategies of medium sized businnes during financial crises

Many economical and financial crisis happened happened untill today. The survival of businesses depend on overcoming the crisis periods without being affected or with minimum lost, and even their strategies for benefiting from opportunities. As well as those strategies may bring the end of business operation, they also may lead to significant growths and advancements under favor of the acceleration they gained. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of global crisis on the Turkish banking sector. In summary, this study shows that even though many developed countries banks bankrupted from the adverse affects of global financial crisis, the Turkish banking sector was not affected from the latest global crisis. In the second chapter strategic planning and crisis management is explained in detail and after that usage of these concepts in managing the crisis in banking sector is analyzed. Before the crisis, the banking crisis and post-crisis phase of the situation as regarded in the stage of banks in Turkey.
