Abstract (EN)

This research is realized in Adana at A and B hospıtals of working laboratory staff to examine the relation between risk factors and defining characteristics. In both hospital of working 220 laboratory staff was applied questionnaire composed of socia – demographic characteristics and occupational risk factors. The data obtained from the questionnaries have been analyzed been analyzed using SPPS 24.0 statistical software. Evaluation of the included frequency, percentage, average and standart deviation values besides T test and Anove test. Findings of the research were evaluated at a confidance interval of 95% and 5% significance level. As a result ıt was determined that the risk factors faced by laboratory workers were high. Although ıt was taken in trainings and measures to reduce the factors of risk, ıt is determined that there is still not enough precautions regarding occupational risk in the working environment. It is concluded that the risk factors for workers differentiate according to age, gender, educational level, working hospital, unit of study, to receive training on occupational risks within the last year, adequate information on occupational risks, adequate measures for occupational risks. Working time per unit does not seem to be relevant.
