Abstract (EN)
The automotive industry is trying to attract end users with its new vehicles, which are produced with innovations in fields such as new technology, design and fuel consumption. The demands of the original equipment manufactureres in this direction have led to the need for the sub-industry manufacturers to improve their existing production techniques. In this thesis, aluminum alloy wheels are discussed in terms of low pressure die casting and flow forming production technology and detailed information is given about both production techniques. In accordance with this information, wheel impact and bending fatigue tests were performed and the wheel designs were analyzed by the finite element method. The results of the analyses were compared for both wheel types in the last part of the thesis.
