Form and content in modern Iraqi graphic art

Graphic design is a creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas. The vast field of graphic design generally includes print, web, and broadcasting. The research is about evaluating the works of modern Iraqi Graphic designers who use traditional methods like screen printing and etching. The research consists of four chapters. The first chapter included a presentation of the problem of research, which was identified by the researcher in asking the following question: What is the relationship between form and content in modern Iraqi graphic art? The purpose of the research was also to reveal the relationship between form and content in modern Iraqi graphic art. The boundaries of the research were set for the period between 1970 - 2000, as the most advanced period in the development of modern Iraqi graphic art. The second chapter includes the theoretical framework, which was divided into three subtitles. The first one includes the study of the form and content of the dialectic of the relationship and its philosophy in the graphic artwork; the second includes the study of the symbol in the art of graphics, and the third part touches on the study of the art of modern Iraqi graphic and its most important pioneers and analysis of their works. The third chapter presents the graphic works of the period between 1970-2000. The last chapter includes the results and recommendations.
