Abstract (EN)
Renewable Energy Sources, which are not fossil originated on earth (coal etc.), whose effect and harm to the environment are much lower than conventional energy sources, are constantly renewed and ready for use in nature. Nowadays, renewable energy; it is an energy source that is constantly developing worldwide and has become the focus of attention. The use of these resources as hybrid is common, but it is important for the sustainability of the system. In this thesis study, photovoltaic system - wind turbine hybrid power generation system is modeled in Matlab / Simulink environment. Different irradiation values for the photovoltaic system and variable wind speed for the wind turbine were applied to the system and an analysis was made on the output voltage. In the hybrid system analyzed, a buck-boost converter with a PID controller was added to the DC outputs of the power generation sources. The graphics of two systems with and without converter were analyzed and compared. In the light of the findings obtained as a result of system design; in the busbar output voltages in the system using the converter, compared to the system without converter, according to scenario 1, average DC busbar output voltage is 11.38%, AC busbar output voltage is 11.34%, according to Scenario 2, average DC busbar output voltage is 21.48%, AC busbar output voltage is 19.66% optimization has been achieved. The graphics obtained as a result of the simulation were interpreted and suggestions for future studies on the subject were presented.
