The Analysis of the Turkish translations of the "Dönüşüm" öyküsü from the perspective of Franz Kafka and translations science applications

ABSTRACT The analysis of the Turkish translations of the "Dönüşüm Öyküsü" from the perspective of Franz Kafka and translation science applications The translation process which forms the cultural way of communication has been a necessity not only within the societies, with the developing technology, but also between societies. As a condition to this necessity, the studies in the field of translation has reached to scientific basis and translation has become more important in this meaning. In this study, I never see the right in me to Judge the translators or to say that there are mistakes or the right to do mistake hunting. What I've tried to do is to identify the reason of mistakes in translations, and to compare the four different translation works from the points view of structure and word dimension. With this study, I try to find out how far the readers can reach the world which the translators have drawn, the readers who do not know foreign language in Turkey. By means of translation, the expressions in cipher in the target language will be more easily decoded. The aim is to reduce the deviations in meaning and the compositional deviations and to approach to the author's form more objectively, so to make the reader came closes to this process. In the translation works, analysis have been done in the dimension of syntax, the meaning and form deviations in the syntax have been reflected, the reasons have been identified. This study has been done thinking that the findings from syntax comparisons can be a basis for translation.
