A study on determining user opinions on electronic document management systems: The case of Firat University

The goal of this research is to determine the creativity level of the department of early childhood education students according to their own perceptions, and the relation between creativity level and several variables. Sample of the research consists of 236 participants from Elazig Province Firat University Faculty of Education Early Childhood Education students. "How Creative Are You?" test which was developed by Raudsepp (1977) and adapted to Turkish by Çoban (1999) has been used for this research. Results of the reliability analysis show that 50 questions on this test got 0.837 value on Cronbach's Alpha and concluded as highly reliable. Differentiation levels of the scores of this test were analyzed in terms of variables such as gender, age, class, number of siblings, city of residence, mother's education level, father's education level. Frequency, mean, standard deviation, sig, t-test, Anova and Tukey tests were used on analyses of the data. When results of the creativity level test is evaluated, it showed the overall average score of these students is 38.936 and this indicates that their creativity level is below average. It was concluded that there is a statistically significant difference between the creativity level of preschool teachers and their class level. There is no statistically significant difference in the creativity levels of preschool teachers according to their gender, age, number of siblings, city of residence, mother's education level and father's education level. When overall average in creativity level results of our research is examined, it is concluded that the creativity level of the students is below the average. Upon the analysis of the classes results, it is seen that while creativity levels of the 1st, 3rd and 4th grade are below the creativity level average, 2nd grade students showed average results on creativity level test.
