The relationship between smartphone addiction and alienation levels of Firat University Faculty of sports sciences students review

The impact of smartphones, which are an indispensable part of daily life that all individuals use frequently, on the individual as a result of excessive use, and the alienation relations of individuals as a result of this impact are examined. The research aims to explain the connection between "Smartphone Addiction" and "Alienation" of Fırat University Faculty of Sports Sciences students with the relational screening method. Smartphone Addiction; The individual's inability to get away from his phone in every environment he is in, constantly spending time on his mobile phone, and not being able to enjoy the moment he lives in and constantly missing the best moments can be described as being disconnected from real life. Alienation is; Although it is interpreted in different ways by many scientific researchers, it basically means that a person goes against the environmental conditions and cannot define himself, but instead expresses himself through the eyes of someone else. The research covers 311 students studying at Fırat University Faculty of Sports Sciences. In addition to Smartphone Addiction, the "Alienation" scale was used in the research. T-test, ANOVA test and Tukey test were used to analyze the data. According to the findings of the research, it is seen that women's alienation rate and smartphone addiction are higher. It can be said that the higher rate of alienation among women is due to smartphone addiction. It can also be said that the age variable of smartphone addiction is related to age, and as age increases, smartphone addiction relatively decreases. At the same time, it can be said that the level of alienation affects the level of alienation, while a decrease in the income level increases alienation, an increase in the income level is associated with smartphone addiction.
