Algae were found to develop on the side-walls, bottom and in water of the fish ponds. Algal flora of the ponds was predominantly constituted by diatoms (Bacillariophyta). A total of 23 diatom taxa were determined. Msvimla, MitzscMs and CşmMifs were the genera represented by more species than other diatoms.
