Abstract (EN)
BLDC motors are used in space systems, automotive fields, military field, robotic systems, medical electronics, computer systems, home appliances, etc. It is frequently used in many industrial areas today. If we indicate the advantages of BLDC motors, their efficiency is very high, structure is strong, and reliability is high. They do not have any arc and carbon dust due to their lack of brushes, high speeds can be achieved, BLDC motor can be easily cooled, speed control is possible, unlike brushed motors, they do not require excitation currents and operate silently. At the present time, with the advancement of control techniques and technology, the use of BLDC motors has increased, and the ongoing disadvantages have been eliminated. When the literature studies were examined, it was observed that the studies on BLDC motors focused on speed control. Various methods such as artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, wavelet technique, genetic algorithm, Anfis have been used to control the speed of BLDC motors precisely. In addition, PI and PID control are used together with these methods or independently in BLDC motor speed control. In this thesis, a hybrid control method has been proposed. Apart from the existing methods, and the optimization of the parameters is performed with PSO. The results obtained from the simulations showed that the proposed hybrid control method can be applied to BLDC motors.
