Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, a floating lossless simulator is designed by using a plus-type four-terminal floating nullor (PFTFN) and two current negative impedance converters (INICs). In the proposed circuit, a lossless simulated floating inductor (SFI) and a floating frequency-dependent negative resistance (FDNR) circuits can be obtained depending on the passive component choices. The theoretical analysis of the designed circuit is carried out in which both the ideal and non-ideal cases for the PFTFN and INICs are considered. The proposed circuit contains a minimum number of passive components. There is no need any passive component matching conditions in the proposed circuit. However, all the passive components used in the proposed circuit are floating. Simulations and experimental tests are performed for the obtained SFI circuit. In addition, the obtained lossless SFI circuit is implemented in the second-order low-pass, high-pass (HP), band-pass, and notch filter circuits as applications. Both simulations and experimental tests are constructed for the filter applications. The simulations of the obtained floating FDNR circuit and its second-order HP filter application are also fulfilled. In all the simulations, 0.18 µm TSMC CMOS technology parameters are used. In all the experiments, AD844s are utilized instead of the active building blocks used in the SFI circuit.
