Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of different warm-up methods on some motor characteristics in football children. The average age of the study was 11.46±0.58, the height was 151.73±6.69; 23 children with a body weight of 41.47±6.83 participated voluntarily. Three different warm-up protocols were applied to the participants, 48 hours apart. The warm-up protocol was designed as a warm-up run first, dynamic + static warm-up in the second stage, and static + dynamic warm-up in the third stage. After each warm-up, the participants' 30m speed, agility, leg strength, hand grip, dribbling, ball bouncing, long jump, vertical jump and y balance values were taken. In statistical analysis, the data of the participants in the study were analyzed using the IBM SPSS 26 package program. Descriptive information about the participants in the groups was tabulated. Test distributions of variables according to methods were examined, and normality of distributions and homogeneity of variances were determined with the Shapiro-Wilks test. The effects of warm-up methods on 30 meter sprint, agility, leg strength, hand grip, dribbling, ball bouncing, long jump, vertical jump, y balance values were examined with one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Post Hoc comparisons were continued with Tukey HSD for significant relationships and the significance level was accepted as p<0.05. As a result, it has been revealed that there are significant differences between the performances of dynamic + static / static + dynamic warm-ups in football children. Key words: Agility, Child, Speed, Strength
