Abstract (EN)
Aviation technology has reached a high level especially in the last years with the introduction of the 5th generation aircraft into the inventory of the countries, but in order to use this technology effectively, the trained human factor comes to the fore. It is considered that the ability of the pilots to resist the high gravitational force (G tolerance) that they are subjected to after sudden pulls is affected by physical and physiological variables. The aim of this research is to examine the factors of body composition, aerobic endurance, equilibrium, running speed, flexibility, anaerobic capacity, strength, heart rate and heart rate variability that may affect G-tolerance in order to increase flight performance and body composition, physical and to determine if there are any significant differences in physiological properties. 41 volunteers participated in the study with training on physiology of flight and having a medical examination. The research was completed with tests performed on 4 different days for each participant. The research was completed with tests performed on 4 different days for each participant. The International Physical Activity Survey was applied to the participants to determine their physical activity status and the Borg Scale was used to determine the perceived difficulty level of the tests. Body composition measurements (height, weight, fat percentage, muscle weight, BMI), physical properties tests (hand grip-back-leg strength, flexibility, balance, vertical jump, isokinetic hip strength, 5 m. Running speed) to participants. Tests related to physiological properties (aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity, heart rate, heart rate variability, G measurement) were applied. The data obtained at the end of the research were compared with the G tolerance, the relationship between physical and physiological characteristics and the G tolerance, and the values obtained from each test were compared. In addition to the tests (aerobic capacity, anaerobic power, KAHD), which are in parallel with the previous studies, the results of the research are the first time tests (balance, back force, leg force, claw force, flexibility, isokinetic abductor and adductor hip force, vertical jump). , running speed) Factors affecting G force were determined. As a result of analyzing the information obtained as a result of the research; In terms of body composition (body fat percentage, BMI), physical properties (isokinetic strength, running speed) and physiological properties (aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity), it can be said that there is a significant difference between the group with higher G tolerance and the lower group. There is also a positive relationship between G tolerance and anaerobic capacity and running speed, which is also associated with anaerobic power. In line with these results, it can be said that the anaerobic properties of jet pilots and pilot candidates should be at the highest level and their aerobic capacities should be above a certain level, while the body fat percentage should be kept at low levels. Jet pilots or jet pilot candidates; It is recommended that they gain nutritional habits that will keep body fat ratios and body mass indexes under control and to work to prioritize anaerobic features in order to improve G tolerances, and to keep physical activity levels at high level by focusing on developing anaerobic features as a complementary feature.
