Abstract (EN)
In the historical development of the Turkish language, various sound changes are observed in the language in time due to internal and external reasons. It is important to reveal these sound changes in terms of determining the similarities and differences between the old periods of the Turkish language and today's Turkish dialects. This research which was made in order to determine when b> m sound changes occurred in the written period for the first time and to determine the usage and prevalence in Turkish dialects, is limited to the process of Turkish language that can be followed in writing, and it focuses on the b> m sound change in Turkish dialects. In this research, it is aimed to determine the b> m sound changes seen in Turkish dialects from the past to the present, and to examine the causes of b> m sound change and comparatively numerically between the dialects. In the research, the words with b> m sound changes seen in Turkish written languages from the past to the present were determined and compared in terms of number, and it was mentioned to fluentization, continuity, nasalization and similitude rules as the reason for these changes. The research consists of four parts. In the first part of the study, which is included in the "introduction" part, information about the Turkish language and its dialects, the characteristics of consonants, fluency, similitude, continuity, nasalization and the history of the Turkish language were given. In the second part, the words that have undergone b> m sound changes in Turkish written languages from the past to the present are shown in a list by explaining the reasons for the sound change in which written language they belong to. In the third part, the dialects were compared in terms of the words with b> m sound changes among their groups and they were given as tabulated. In the fourth part, which constitutes the "Conclusion" part, the results reached by evaluating the information obtained as a result of the examination were given. After this section, there is a Bibliography section, which includes the sources used in the study.
