Abstract (EN)

The most important reason for the development of mobile communication systems is the constantly evolving needs. Due to these needs, the demand for mobile communications has increased. Initially, there were only systems with voice transmission capacity in particular. Recently, however, new systems have emerged that allow multimedia transmission and Internet connectivity capabilities. Among these systems, 5th Generation wireless communication will be the modern technology in the future. New techniques have been continuously developed to contribute to the 5th generation wireless communication technology. Among these techniques, MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output), which is a technique that works on long decay, is also included. The Large Scale MIMO method is a more advanced version of MIMO. At this point, the Massive MIMO technique is expected to provide some improvement. Massive MIMO technology can improve at least ten times the field efficiency by increasing spectral efficiency (bit⁄(s/) Hz⁄Cell) while using the same bandwidth and base station density as in existing networks. These extraordinary advantages are gained by equipping base stations with tens antennas arrays to enable spatial multiplexing of dozens of user terminals. In this thesis study, MIMO methods which will benefit spectral efficiency for 5G applications have been emphasized and some suggestions have been made by making comparisons with related simulations.
