A research on traditional Of houses

The aim of this study is to examine 6 traditional rural houses located in Of District Cuma Pazarı (Saray) and Taşhan Neighborhoods, which have a long history, in terms of settlement characteristics, plan analysis, building system-facades, roof and interior visuals. This study consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, description of the problem, aim, importance, scope and methodology of the study are given. The second chapter of the study provides general information about traditional rural architecture and houses. In line with this information, the data obtained from the research conducted in the study area are evaluated. The third part of the study is the section where analyzes and evaluations are made about the study area. In the fourth and last part of the study, the information obtained at the end of the study is presented in a certain systematic way. At the end of the study, it was observed that Of local houses have the characteristics of traditional Anatolian rural houses and still have traces of their historical identity and were built in accordance with the ecological design criteria that can be lived in.
