Abstract (EN)

Frit that has got a very important situation in Ceramic production, it develops constantly by the reasons of make this operation necessary and it reaches to today?s technology.Glass melting and throw developed at 9th and 10th centuries A.D.(Anno Domini). Then, another form of Egypt?s Faience occurred. Granulated quartz was mixed with glass and clay. After then, the products which like porcelain, quartz-glass and clay mixture have been started to product at Near East. The first known sample made in Iran, Kaşan at 13th century. The granulated quartz in equal ratios and calcined soda plant (salicornia) put in special broken glass furnaces till comes transparency glass, after then pour into the water-logged pool. It realized at the analyses that this broken glasses used as standard at the ceramics on the time periods of Ilhanlı.The most brilliant characteristic is the glass which made of lades rich at the art of tile-making of İznik that has lived the brilliant time periods as from beginning of 16th century. Lead in the broken glass is the most important difference between the art of tile-making of İznik and ceramics of İlhanlı.Another difference is between İznik?s glasses which contain lead-alkaline and the sources of alkaline of Iran?s glasses which contain soda (sodium bicarbonate). Iranian craftsmen had taken the soda from desert plants like salicornia or salsola. Also, craftsmen of İznik had used a mixture called ?Bora? which they brought from Afyonkarahisar. You could find information about description of broken glass, its history, frit and reasons of them, raw materials which used at operations of broken glass, usage the glass at the period of Seljuk Empire and usage the glass at the period of Ottoman Empire in the first capture of the piece of written research.I would like to mention that I have new experiments some kind of glasses and with using printed formulas of broken glasses in the second part. Also, in the third part the results applied to the forms
