Abstract (EN)
Language has a very complex structure. Language development is influenced by many factors such as the individual's experiences, age, educational level, social environment and personal differences. Language development continues during young adulthood and may vary between individuals. The production of subordinate clauses, which is considered as one of the indicators of syntactic complexity of language, increases with age and this situation indicates the maturation of language skills. In this study, microstructural features and the production of subordinate clauses with verbs in narrative samples of young adults between the ages of 18-30, obtained with single picture (narrative model) and sequential story (retelling model), were analyzed. The highest frequency of verb production occurred when the retelling model and sequential narrative were used.
