Abstract (EN)
In this study, by using Genetic Algorithm (GA) which is a new optimization method and used in many areas today, parameter optimization in explosive forming is done. Solutions made by traditional computational methods both lasts long time and reveals sometimes not rational results. For this reason, testing methods different than traditional methods appear to be an inevitable necessity. Forming metals with explosion is used frequently today in space industry for especially forming very large parts. In these operations, solid, liquid and gaseous explosives are used. There is no serious study done about explosive forming in Turkey and this technology is not used in our country now. It is hoped that this study provides a modest contribution to investigation about this topic. In this study, MATLAB 7.0 program is used for solving GA?s and obtained results are shown with tables and charts.
