Abstract (EN)
The theory of optical solitons plays an important role in telecommunications engineering. The dynamics of soliton propagation through various forms of optical fibers, PCF and metamaterials has shaped our lives today. It is impossible to think of advances in life today without the engineering marvel of soliton dynamics. There are various kinds of fibers and a variety of models that govern this dynamics. This variety of mathematical tools, that are applied to study these models, are visible in a wide range of results. This study recovers stationary optical soliton solutions when chromatic dispersion, in addition to self-phase modulation, is rendered to be nonlinear. The extended trial function method recovers stationary soliton solutions for eleven forms of nonlinear refractive index structures of optical fibers. The technical criteria for the existence of such stationary solitons are also presented. 2021, 72
