Analysing the prenatal affiiliation level of pregnant women with gestational diabetes and their attitude towars birth

Gestational diabetes is a case threatening mother and fetus, causing fear and stress for women and their babies. This study was carried out as descriptive comparative research to determine the prenatal affilition level of pregnant women with gestational diabetes and their attitude towars birth. Research sample consists of 101 pregnant women with gestational diabetes who applied to Gestational Diabetes Clinic of Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Gynaecological Diseases Training and Research Hospital between July 2018 and September 2018. Research data was gathered by using sociodemographic form, PAI and SBA. According to analysis, the rate of education areas for GDM is low. There is no positive relation between PAI and SBA of pregnant women with gestational diabetes. It is not statistically positive but as PAI increases, SBA increases too. There is a positive relation between the number of pregnancy and PAI ( p<0.05). The more pragnancy number, the less PAI level. There is no positive relation between the variables like age, education, planned preganancy, treatment way and PAI or SBA. As a result, it is suggested that research findings can be evaluated as healthcare professionals contribute education and consultancy for this issue and the level of PAI&SBA for pregnant women with gestational diabetes can be determined.
