Bryophyte flora of Gevne Valley (Antalya - Konya)

Abstract (EN)

This study presents bryophyt flora of Gevne Valley, which includes many of endemic and vulnerable flowering plant taxa and Dimçayı Valley, which includes a wildlife development area. As part of the study, field trips were taken between November 2012 and September 2013. After these field trips, specimens among 71 localities were evaluated, as a result 1 taxa belong to Anthoceratophyta, 20 taxa belong to Marchantiophyta and 124 taxa belong to Bryophyta, total 145 spesific and infrasoesific taxa belong to 42 familia has been recorded. Among these taxa, Pterygoneurum compactum M. J. Cano, J.Guerra & Ros and Orthotrichum speciosum var. brevisetum F.Lara, Garilleti & Mazimpaka are new records for Turkish Bryophyte Flora. In addition, Riccia canaliculata is recorded secondly for Turkey. Furthermore, Riccia bifurca Hoffm., Lejeunea cavifolia (Ehrh.) Lindb., Cololejeunea rossettiana (C. Massal.) Schiffn., Buxbaumia viridis (Moug. ex Lam. & DC.) Brid. ex Moug. & Nestl., Timmia bavarica Hessl., Physcomitrium pyriforme (Hedw.) Bruch & Schimp, Grimmia dissimulata E.Maier., Fissidens crassipes subsp. warnstorfii (M.Fleisch.) Brugg.-Nann., Hymenostylium recurvirostrum (Hedw.) Dixon, Epipterygium tozeri (Grev.) Lindb., Plagiomnium affine (Blandow ex Funck) T.J.Kop., Plagiomnium elatum (Bruch & Schimp.) T.J.Kop., Philonotis caespitosa Jur., Orthotrichum schimperi Hammar, Brachythecium glareosum (Bruch ex Spruce) Schimp., Hypnum cupressiforme var. filiforme Brid., and Myurella tenerrima (Brid.) Lindb. taxa are new records for C12 square according to Henderson (1961) Grid System.
