Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to analyze the objectives and behavioral targets presented in the 12 Minor Studies Method. Qualitative research methods such as document analysis and content analysis were employed in this research. A total of 12 studies in the 12 Minor Studies Method book were examined and analyzed across six categories in terms of objectives and behavioral targets, within the context of student achievements. The 12 studies identified in the book were individually examined and analyzed in terms of technical behaviors such as right and left-hand techniques, embellishments, and others. Results were classified according to behavioral targets, and conclusions were drawn based on the analysis. The research aims to analyze the study techniques presented in the 12 Minor Studies Classical Method, aiming to identify the technical contributions that should be provided to students and to facilitate students' conscious practice in this direction. The significance of the research lies in determining the applicability of this method for classical guitar educators and beginners, examining its effectiveness in imparting objectives and behavioral targets to students, and ensuring that students practice consciously towards these goals. The findings of the research indicate that, in terms of the behavioral targets contained in the book titled "12 Minor Studies Method," there is significant alignment with the expected behavioral targets for beginner-level students in classical guitar education. It is concluded that the studies in the book adequately contribute to imparting behavioral targets to students in areas such as string and syncopation studies, right-hand finger techniques, left-hand bar techniques, tonality comprehension, embellishments, musicality, nuances, chord use in the right hand, staccato studies, finger numbers in chords, cross transitions, and chord progressions.
