Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to determine the high quality joins of filter papers used as oil, fuel and air filters by using different combining methods. It has been determined whether it meets the requirements of the using conditions in the sector or not. The oil, air and fuel filter papers were piled (folded) to form media, then paper ends, ultrasonic, metal clips, polyamide based hot melt, poliefil based hot melt, polyurethane based adhesive, cyanoacrylate adhesive and heat were used to perform merging. Macro investigations were performed after consolidation. The media were turned into final filter products, bubble test, air permeability and pore size test were applied. When the quality of the bonding is considered, it is seen that it is a metal clips, polyamide based hot melt, polyurethane based adhesive, poliefil based hot melt, ultrasonic welding, cyanoacrylate adhesive and heat bonding, but when both quality bonding and economics are considered, metal clips, polyurethane based adhesive, polyamide based hot melt, ultrasonic welding, poliefil based hot melt, heat bonding and cyanoacrylate adhesive.
