Abstract (EN)

Metal oxides in the production of nanocomposite materials are quite promising for the commercial and technological applications. In this thesis, new type metal oxide nanocomposites have been fabricated with different graphene contents and the physical and chemical parameters of synthesized nanocomposites have been characterized. In the present thesis, firstly graphene oxide and reduce graphene have been synthesized. Metal and metal oxide doped-nanocomposite materials have been synthesized using some methods such as ultrasonification, chemical precipitation, heat treatment and annealing. The synthesized materials are called as CoG, LiXO2, Limon, Mon, LiCoM and CoM for various graphene ratios. The nanocomposites materials with total 6 series have been synthesized and characterized using FT-IR, XRD, SEM and TEM techniques. The structural and crystal structure parameters of the nanocomposites have been obtained. SEM and TEM results indicate that the synthesized nanocomposites are nanomaterials with the calculated particle and crystal sizes. The distribution of the particles in the nanocomposites have been changed with graphene contents. The graphene dopant did not change the crystal structure of the materials. The obtained results indicates that the nanostructure properties of metal oxide based nanocomposites can be controlled using various graphene contents for electronic and energy applications. Keywords: Graphene, metal oxide nanostructures, physical properties of nanocomposites.
