Abstract (EN)

Recently, the need for clean and environmentally friendly resources has been increasing to meet the energy needs. Hydrogen stands out due to being a good energy carrier and a source of clean energy. Hydrogen stands out due to being a good energy carrier and a source of clean energy. In this thesis, the synthesis of inexpensive and highly catalytic active catalysts is used for the production of hydrogen by the hydrolysis of NaBH4, which is used as a source of hydrogen. In order to increase the surface area of the catalysts, graphene oxide (GO) is produced from graphite and it is aimed to increase the catalytic activities by impreganating Co-B and Co-Cu-B catalysts on graphene oxide. Identification of the resulting graphene oxide and catalysts was carried out using advanced analytical methods such as N2-adsorption-desorption, BET, SEM, EDX, XRD, ICP. In order to the production of hydrogen from hydrolysis of sodium boron hydride, the effects of different metal ratios, NaOH concentration, different NaBH4 concentration, different catalyst amounts and different temperature parameters were investigated. In addition, using the data obtained from experiments at different temperatures, reaction rate order and activation energies of sodium borohydride hydrolysis were determined in the presence of Co-B / GO and Co-Cu-B / GO catalysts.
