Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, new, inexpensive and high catalytic performance catalysts were obtained for hydrogen production obtained as a result of the hydrolysis reaction of potassium borohydride, which is used as an alternative to sodium borohydride from borohydrides with high hydrogen storage capacity. In addition, in order to increase the performance of the obtained catalysts and make them more economical, graphene oxide (GO) supported Co-B and Co-Mo-B nanocatalysts were prepared and the catalytic performance of the hydrogen obtained as a result of the hydrolysis reaction of potassium boron hydride was investigated. For the characterization of the catalysts obtained in the laboratory; It was performed using X-ray (XRD), electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS), and surface area measuring device (BET). For hydrogen production from the hydrolysis of potassium borohydride; The effects of different metal catalysts ratios, optimum support (GO) amount, KOH concentration, different KBH4 concentration, different catalyst amounts and different temperature parameters were investigated. In addition, as a result of kinetic studies using the data obtained from experiments at different temperatures, activation energies and reaction degrees for Co-B, Co-Mo-B, graphene oxide supported Co-B catalyst and graphene oxide supported Co-Mo-B were determined. Moreover the synthesized catalysts; it was seen that it is usable and low cost, and its catalytic activity is close to the catalysts obtained with precious metals.
