Abstract (EN)

The overall objective of the study is the content evaluation of package design courses given in faculties with graphical design education on account of their compliance to the needs of the graphics sector.Quantitative and qualitative study methods have been implemented for the study of course content of degree level package design courses in Faculties of Fine Arts, Faculties of Art and Faculties of Architecture of five universities in Ankara. In addition to this, a survey has been conducted with twenty educational staff related to package design and twenty employers in the package sector in order to determine expert opinions. The obtained data has been analyzed through SPSS software and presented as frequency and percentage tables.At the conclusion of the study, suggestions have been included for educational institutions and staff and for employers in the sector as well.
