Abstract (EN)

Artistic production, whether it carries over knowledge or it solelyaddresses to the emotions, provides the communication between the singular(creator subject) and the plural (societal). Therefore art, which is the activity ofthe subject, is always perceived as directed to society and has become themeans of social, political, socio-political, and economical inferences. Culturalproduction areas making use art?s this future go beyond their meanings andtransforming the way of society?s interpretation creates a new language andaesthetic structure.This is the most fundamental reason of the question ?Is graphic design anart?? This question could be answered in various ways. Yet the researcher?s aimis not to find an answer to this question; rather he tries to examine the relationbetween communication means used in graphic design and object in the contextof art?s relation with the world and life.In this study art was studied ontologically as a subjective creation of thesubject and with the foresight that there is a relation between artistic productsbecoming processes and their features. In this context, narrowing the text ofconceptual framework of the Chapter I, in Chapter II we dwelt on thedialectical relation between subject and object. In Chapter III materialization orin other words creation process or as stated in the text, object transformationvia editing meaning (emphasizing the formation of meaning) was analyzedreferring to concepts such as ?value, reality, and meaning?. After this generalapproach in Chapter IV and V basic elements which are essential in thevisualization of meaning and specifically in the creation of graphic designproducts were explained referring to their images on the products.Key Words: Subject, Object, Subjectivity, Objectivity, Transformation
