Abstract (EN)

Many countries are dealing with serious problems of environmental degradation as a result of increased manufacturing and commercial activities, industrialisation, urbanisation, economic growth, rapid population growth and widespread use of technology. Increasing energy consumption and the type of energy used are the main contributors to this environmental damage. When we think of energy, we usually think of fuels and combustion. Most of the energy needs are still obtained from fossil sources. This situation increases the harm of pollutant emissions to the environment. Carbon dioxide emission is one of the biggest causes of global warming Many scientific methods have been tried to reduce carbon emissions. However, the costs of these methods are very high and their emission effects are limited. A new emission reduction system, which is the subject of our study, has shown the combustion improvement effect of some boron derivatives. Octamix, a fuel additive enriched with boron and hydrogen, is an important patent in this field. In this study, a new system has been proposed to reduce emission values in vehicles with internal combustion engines and it has been shown that emissions can be reduced in vehicles with the system installed. This new study, called green gas, was made to send the Octamix fuel additive directly to the internal combustion engine. It is a product that converts the lubricating fuel into vapor form and sends it to the combustion chamber. With this method, which was applied for the first time in the world, a high amount of savings was achieved in LPG, Gasoline and Diesel vehicles. The green gas fuel system improves combustion and reduces the internal friction of combustion products. High savings are achieved with this double-sided effect. It has been experimentally proven that there is a 20 percent reduction in total emissions in the green gas system. In addition, a feasibility study is presented for the values obtained from fuel savings in addition to the reduction in emissions with the cost of installing the Green Gas fuel kit on vehicles. With this thesis, the contribution of the Green Gas system to the country's economy when commercialized is shown numerically.
