Abstract (EN)
This study deals with one of the biggest problems in our country. It has been emphasized that the use of loss and leakage are two different terms. It is the first study in the literature that aims to forecast the losses and illegal usage thanks to proposed algorithms and to determine the approximate amount of illegal usage. The separation of the two different terms from each other will contribute to result-oriented studies in the fight against illegal use. It is not possible to reduce the technical losses in the power lines to zero. However, it is not impossible to reduce non-technical losses caused by human errors, such as illegal use, to zero, even if it seems difficult. In this respect, the terms lost and illegal consumption are two independent terms. When loss and leakage rates, which are evaluated together today, are kept separate from each other, it can be thought that the investments made are more efficient and the grids are healthier. In this study, the amount of illegal use of cities has been estimated with the help of proposed algorithms and artificial intelligence. By reducing the complex regions to a single transformer region, the technical losses of the region are calculated. Illegal usage amounts were estimated based on unbilled energy amounts.
