Abstract (EN)

Within this thesis, 13 different fabrics are woven by the X-static® yarns which are produced with ring spinning system and that contains silver in different rates (5, 10 and 15 %) and by using %100 cotton yarns. While weaving process the silver content weft are included to the fabric with different weft rates. The produced woven fabrics are structurally analyzed by determining weight, density, and weft and warp crimp/shrinkage. The effect of different contents of silver fabrics in performance is also examined by using breaking strength, tearing strength and stiffness tests. The fabrics with silver without silver are finally applied to the antibacterial activity test. The data of experimental results are evaluated with SPSS 15.0 statistics program. The mathematical correlations between optimal model prediction and variables are obtained with regression analyses. Keywords: Ring yarn, woven fabric, silver, antibacterial activity
