Abstract (EN)

Solar-assisted heat pump systems continue to be developed and studies on this subject are increasing. In order to improve the system, improvements on the solar collector and heat storage are recommended for future studies in the literature. The use of heat transfer fluid with improved thermal properties in the solar collector of the solar-assisted heat pump system and the use of nanoparticle added phase change material in the heat storage tank will increase the heat transfer and heat storage efficiency and increase the efficiency of the solar-assisted heat pump. In this study, vacuum tube u-tube solar collector was used as solar collector. In the solar-assisted heat pump, nanoparticle added nanofluid is used in the solar collector section. The solar-assisted heat pump is designed as indirect expansion. Nanofluid is used as heat transfer fluid in the collector, heat storage tank coil and heat pump tank coil. Water was used in the heat storage tank and heat pump tank. Nano particle added phase change material was placed in 6 cylinder tubes in the heat storage tank. Solar-assisted heat pump experimental design was installed. The nanoparticle added phase change material and nanofluid prepared by the two-step method were added to the system. Fluid flow rate, solar radiation, solar collector, heat pump, heat storage tank and heat pump tank fluid temperatures were measured. Thermodynamic analysis was performed with these values. Solar-assisted heat pump experiments were carried out under the climatic conditions of Elazığ province. Experimental system results are presented.
