Abstract (EN)

Due to the rapir increase in world's population, developing technologies lead rising of energy consumption. These energy consuming proceses also cause an increase in requirements of thermal energy and power generation. Power generation is mainly supplied from fosil fuels, which causes environmental problems such as global warning. In addition, waste heat released from the processes at high temperatures contribute to this undesirable condition. For these reasons, number of studies on alternative power generation methods have been increased. These studies inlucede particularly power generation studies for moderate temperature utilization such as waste heat recovery, solar energy and geothermal energy. In this study, investigation of solar assisted integrated power generation system was carried out. Supercritical CO2 (R744) was used as working fluid. Integrated power generation system was consisted of parabolic trough collectors, a gas cycle and an organic vapor cycle. AT the fşrst stage of the study, thermal modelling of the parabolic trough collector was carried out and for specific design parameters, solar energy calculations were done. With the rsults of the solar energy modelling, thermodynamic analyses of gas and organic vapor cycle were carried out. During the thermodynamic calculations, the first law analysis was applied to the whole system and the working conditions of the system were determined. Than, second law analysis of the system was carried out in order to determine the exergy destruction rates of each system component with exergy efrficiencies. The obtained results given in the forms of tables and figures comparatively.
