Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to determine the agricultural and technological properties of 10 B-clones selected from 60 A-clones derived from the clone selection together with 1 standard variety (control) in common sage (Salvia officinalis L.). The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with three replications. In each B clone, there are 10 plants outside the edge effect; first flowering date (day), plant height (cm), fresh herb yield (kg / da), drug herb yield (kg/da), drug leaf yield (kg/da), drug leaf ratio (%), essential oil ratio (%), essential oil compounds (%) such as observation, measurement and analysis were made. Fresh herb yield between 701.00 (Clone 14) and 1285.70 (Clone 41) kg/da, drug herb yield between 176.13 (Clone 27) and 368.87 (Clone 8) kg/da, drug leaf yield between 89.07 (Clone 27) and 202.30 (Clone 41) kg/da, drug leaf ratios between 43.96% (Clone 35) and 58.60 (Clone 41), essential oil ratio between 0.90% (Clone 27) and 1.72% (Clone 8) were changed in the common sage clones. The most important essential oil compounds of the clones were determined as 1,8-cineole (16.48-33.86%), α-thujone (1.85-31.01%), β-thujone (3.99-17.51%) and camphore (0.74-14.94%). The essential oil compounds of the clones except Clone 27 were generally found to comply with essential oil standard for common sage (ISO 9909, 1997). According to the results obtained, it was decided that the clones 8, 11, 21 and 41 would be considered to be priority in common sage breeding with their high drug yield, volatile oil ratio and high volatile oil quality.
