Abstract (EN)
This study aims to make the energy obtained from the sun, which is one of the renewable energy sources, more efficient with the designed system and to ensure the protection of the system. In this study, four PV battery systems were designed to compare the efficiency of the systems. As the prototype systems are made for Isparta province, solar angles for Isparta province were taken into consideration and the prototypes of 0 °, 10 °, 33 ° and traced system of PV batteries to be used in the study were realized. With these prototypes, solar radiation values and current-voltage values of PV cells were measured and efficiency comparison was performed. In the next stage, a weather station and vibration sensor have been added to protect the high efficiency solar tracking system and to extend the working life. Thus, with the help of wind speed data and vibration sensor data obtained from the weather station, in case of possible storm and hail incident of the solar tracking system, the system is re-opened when the threat is eliminated by closing on one of the PV batteries to protect the system. With the solar tracking system designed and manufactured, 21% higher efficiency was obtained compared to 33o fixed angle PV battery for Isparta province and July 2019.
