Abstract (EN)

In this study, a user-friendly calculation model has been developed for the change of the amount of incoming radiation depending on the wavelength for the province of Muğla. The developed model also includes atmospheric conditions for a clear sky, unlike other models. With the developed model, instant and hourly average radiation amount can be calculated. This model is valid for all regions and the Menteşe district of Muğla province was chosen as the place of application. Atmospheric parameters of Muğla province were determined in the light of data obtained from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Clean Energy Resources Research and Development Center (MUTEK). Atmospheric effects vary due to the fact that Muğla province has settlements with a coast to the sea and the central district has an altitude of 646 m above sea level. In the second part of the study, the spectral sensitivities of the incident radiation and the wavelength of the solar cells were investigated in the computational model. In addition, the developed computational model, unlike other models, includes descriptive tabs for the user about the model variables. As a result, it was seen that the results obtained with the developed computational model had a high correlation when compared with the results obtained from SPCTRL 2, which is an accepted and used model.
