Abstract (EN)

This research aims at evaluating the problems encountered by the embroidery teachers working in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey while teaching and training, according to the views of these teachers.The teachers, working at the Girls? Vocational High Schools and Public Education Centers, constitute the field of this research.The teachers working at the Girl?s Vocational High Schools and Public Education Centers in the cities Siirt, Diyarbakır, and Batman in Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey serve as a model for this research.This study is a descriptive research and based on the type of scanning. For obtaining the data constituting the research , the questionnaire is applied to 75 embroidery teachers working at the Girls? Vocation High Schools and Public Education Centers, to evaluate the data collected, the formula y=fx.100/n is used and frequency and the values of percentage are calculated.At the end of the research, the following results are gained;The equipment for the lessons and printed material are not enough. Avaliable equipment are not modernized parallel to technology.The students have problems to afford the materials required for the courses and because of their working as a part-time worker on the farms, they are usually absent at the school.There isn?t enough co-operation between parents embroidery teachers and teachers.There aren?t enough social places to spend their free time for embroidery teachers and teachers .
