Abstract (EN)

Leakage losses from Güzelhisar Dam were investigated in this study. İn this scope, monthly precipitation and evaporization values as well as monthly stream flow values into and out from the rezervoir in the 1990-2002 water year were used.Leakage losses were calculated monthly by the use of the water equilibrium equation. It was determined that the leakage losses increase by the increasing side surface area of the reservoir. İn order to determine the water levels between which the occurrence of relatively more or less leakage losses take place, the leakage losses calculated in 106 m3/month units, were expressed as the unit side surface area leakage loss (m3/m2/month) and the relationship between these values and the water level h(m) was investigated.As a result of this investigation, in the related years, when the water level which changes in the range 88,80 m ? 105,14 m is found between 82,80 m ? 96,24 m the leakage losses reach the maximum values. İn order to find out whether these losses are different than the leakage losses in the 9 m high region between the 96,31 m ? 105,14 m, this region was divided into three 3 m High subregions. These three regions are high leakage losses and lakeage losses 82,80 m ? 96,24 m elevations of the region between the leakage occured as a result of companing statistically. The maximum leakage occured as a result of comparing the first region and the absence of statistical difference between the second and third region, the fourth region are found to be different with the %99 confidence level.
