Abstract (EN)
Fossil fuels currently account for about 90 percent of world energy consumption. Petroleumleads with a share of about 40 percent of total world energy consumption, followed by coaland natural gas. In the process of burning fossil fuels compounds are emitted into the airwhich can cause harm to humans, plants, animals, and whole ecosystems. Relating to all thesefacts; hydrogen energy and fuel cells have a very high level of importance for the world. In this work, we have more focused on PtRu/C, PtIr/C and PtRuIr/C composite electrodeswhich are very important to make proton exchange membrane fuel cell more efficient. TheSEM, particle size and zeta potential analysis have been done for optimisation of workingconditions. Then, PtRu/C, PtIr/C and PtRuIr/C composite electrodes obtained byimpregnation method. SEM photograph of electrodes was taken and XRD analysis was done.
